So here we are again introducing another new Anbernic handheld console this year. This time the RG505.
Just to catch you up: In 2022 alone, Anbernic has released the RG300X, RG552, RG503, RG353P, and their Portable Gaming PC the Win 600 (did we miss any?).
While us at RetroDodo want to be done with any Anbernic trash talking, we have yet another console to share with you that may or may not be exciting.
But what we can say is that at least Anbernic has seem to return to their iconic console design of the RG351P and the RG351MP that made them one of the best on the scene.
August 14 Update: We got a new clear image of the device leaked by Instagram user cn_play_ that gives us a more obvious look at what seems to be Anbernic’s Nintendo Switch Lite clone?
I dunno if that makes it better or worse. But let’s wait to see where they go with it.
It’s not terrible so far. Fingers crossed for a classic Anbernic masterpiece.
This Youtube video also came out today (Aug 14) that had a second view of the device, and appears to show the Android OS.
