Some more Amiga news for you all, as we’ve just been given the heads up, that JOTD who was behind great conversions such as Moon Patrol, Donkey Kong, Super Bagman, Galaxian500, Pooyan, Super Xevious, and the upcoming Bad Dudes vs DragonNinja, has now turned his attention to the 1982 game of Burger Time. A new Amiga conversion which was originally released back in the day for the Intellivision, Apple II, Atari 2600, TI-99/4A, Commodore 64, ColecoVision and many others. To coincide with this news, you can see the latest footage of Burger Time being shown below.
Here’s what the wikipedia says about the game. “The object of the game is to build a number of hamburgers while avoiding enemy foods. The player controls chef Peter Pepper who walks across oversized ingredients in a maze of platforms and ladders, causing them to fall and stack on buns below, eventually creating complete burgers. The chef is pursued by anthropomorphic hot dogs, fried eggs, and pickles. A limited supply of pepper can be thrown at aggressors immediately in front of Peter, briefly stunning them”.
