Spread the love

Heritage Auctions will have a booth at Too Many Games, occurring June 23-25 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. It is one of the biggest, most respected retro gaming conventions in the country. We’ll be accepting consignments, showing off some rare and high-graded video games, talking with collectors and gamers about what we do, and in general hanging out and having a great time.

We are a big supporter of Too Many Games, so much so that we will be a sponsor this year. As attendees get their badge for entry, they will be given a special Heritage Auctions lanyard. We consider it a privilege and honor to support the video game community!

Personally, this will be my second time attending Too Many Games. The first was a few years ago when I appeared as a special guest author. I did a panel with fellow author Leonard Herman, who is known as The Father of Videogame History, and we had an absolute blast–it was an amazing show! This year I will be at the Heritage booth with several of my co-workers, and I have no doubt that we will have a great time. Sure, it will be a lot of work, but we love what we do, and we’ll be surrounded by video games and fellow gamers all weekend—what more could we ask for!?

If you’re going to Too Many Games, be sure to set phasers on fun. There will be a massive free-play arcade (leave your quarters at home!), tons of vendors selling new and vintage video games, a cosplay contest, eSports tournaments, boardgame tournaments and demos, live music by such acts as Psychostick and Rex Viper (starring James Rolfe!), and much more, including appearances by celebrity guests and popular YouTubers.

We’re especially looking forward to meeting the legendary Charles Martinet, who has voiced Mario, Luigi, and other characters for many years.
