The game Holy Heroes was conceived out of a passion for Dungeon Master (MSX), 1986, ASCII – Eiichi Saida. The production of Holy Heroes was meticulously crafted to stay true to the DM niche, preserving excellent gameplay as much as possible. However, various additions were made to make the user experience highly rewarding and filled with excitement. Intentionally, online or remote local gameplay was not included to ensure that players share the same experience, playing side by side, in the same room, on the same screen, on the same computer, using a keyboard and controllers (Bluetooth-enabled).
Below is a non-exhaustive list of what has been included in Holy Heroes:

(Heroes) DM up to 3. Holy Heroes: up to 4;
2.
(Classes) DM features Fighter (Knight), Elf (Archer), Saint (Cleric), and Mage. Holy Heroes includes 9 classes: Knight, Archer, Cleric, Mage, Dwarf, Barbarian, Paladin, Ninja, and Necromancer;
3.
(Magic) DM: fixed spells per class and few spells. Holy Heroes: open magic, which can be acquired with a cost based on the hero’s class, meaning you manage what you prefer. You will receive spheres to acquire spells as you level up, based on your class and wisdom;
4.
(Biomes) DM: single biome. Holy Heroes: 11 biomes;
5.
Items: DM: weapon, bow, armor, shield, helmet, ring. Holy Heroes includes these and also boots, gloves, necklace, cloak, backpack expansion accessories, inventory items that contribute to hero statistics, and special challenge rewards;
6.
(Locks and Keys) remains but in greater quantity;
7.
Holy Heroes: inclusion of weather, day-night cycles, traps, secret passages, enchanted golden chests, items left by monsters for weapon enhancement, and other surprises;
8.
(Teleportation) DM had the Talisman for teleportation. Here, there are also amulets for this purpose;
9.
Various (many) positive and negative effects for heroes and monsters. E.g., disease, strength, poison, acid, curse, petrification, sleep, etc.;
10.
Special abilities for classes;
11.
Professions to be acquired (up to 3 per hero);
12.
Item forging to embed protections in defense items and special attacks in weapons;
13.
Side quest system with rewards while playing the main quest;
14.
Procedural world, always different, including different monsters based on biome and level;
15.
Temporal guardians of floors… If you take too long on a floor…
