New Stranger Things Table from Zen Studios; Stern Improves Insider Connected App; New Spooky Logo - Old School Gamer Magazine
Spread the love

I have a couple of pinball odds and ends for everyone this afternoon. Let’s start in the world of digital pinball.

First off, I had no idea that Netflix includes 112 free phone apps with subscriptions to its video service. Apparently, one of these subscriptions is an app by Zen Studios called “Pinball Masters.” According to an Instagram post by Zen Studios earlier today, they released a new Stranger Things-themed pinball table on the Netflix app. I don’t believe that this table is available to play anyplace else at the moment.

Also this afternoon, Stern Pinball announced that it has rolled out a new and improved version of its Insider Connected app.

The new Leaderboards section that lets you easily see how your best score on a particular game stacks up against the rest of the pinball World is pretty cool. The app also keeps users logged in and includes social media integration, if you’re into that.

“Today, we’re excited to launch an Insider Connected App Update: More Players, More Fun! Insider Connected now features easier navigation, keeps you logged in, and includes social media sharing on the updated version of the Stern IC App. We’ve also added a new Leaderboards tab in the Play Now section, placing your leaderboards front and center!”

Last up we have Spooky Pinball. Spooky just rolled out a new logo, well a new font attached to its existing logo at least, created by its in-house artist Christopher Franchi.
