  August 12TH, 2024 was a historic day in the world of arcade gaming. The largest arcade in the world, Galloping Ghost Arcade, unveiled its 1,000th arcade game on the floor. This number has been talked about for years. Every Monday (rain or shine, holiday or not), Doc would reveal a new game for the arcade floor. He has been doing this since 2015.

The unveiling of the game hit a little snag as the usual start time of 5:00 PM CST was delayed as the game was still getting its finishing touches so it could be played live on the air. Around 7:00 PM CST, Doc and the staff were ready to stream it live on Twitch.
The time finally arrived where the
game was Road Blaster, released by Data East in 1985. Not many knew a lot about this game, but it meant so much to Doc and was a personal favorite of his - the Sega CD version. The player assumes the role of a vigilante who must avenge the death of his wife by pursuing the biker gang responsible for her death in a modified sports car.
