Over the last ten years I have accumulated around 150 books and nearly that many magazine issues (many of which we have the rights to make available to you with your account at OldSchoolGamer.Com) all about retro video
gaming. In that time, I have NEVER seen a single game, or series of games had their history detailed as extensively and as beautifully as done in this book.
Sort of like the extensive detail of a book like Phoenix IV by Leonard Herman (details the home video game industry in 800 pages), but just about the game Pac-Man, complete with all the pictures, products, and more from the 1980s to today tied in with the story.
