Polar Bear in Space! - An Action packed game through Psytronik Software and RGCD gets a C64 release - Old School Gamer Magazine
Spread the love

What a great December this is turning out to be and it looks like the C64 goodness hasn’t finished with us yet. As trawling through Facebook, we have just found out that the previously announced in development game of ‘Polar Bear in Space!’ is now available for download via Psytronik Software and RGCD. For those who didn’t follow our previous write up, this is an absolutely stunning game in which you take control of an extremely cute Polar Bear in a quest to run, jump and zap through various alien-infested levels whilst collecting krystals.

(This video contains flashing lights and other visual patterns, which may trigger seizures for those with photosensitivity issues)

Polar Bear is stranded in space! Having found a nearby alien space station on his quest for home, he must now locate the secret underground transporter and collect the 99 krystals needed to operate it. Only then can he escape! The game features a super-slick presentation, an incredibly cute main character, platforming and space shooting action, superb soundtracks, support for keyboard and two/three-button (POTX/POTY) controllers, TheC64 Mini/Maxi compatible, and finally available as a digital download and boxed edition linked below!
