Ever since the first flipper was placed on a playfield back in 1947, pinball has been a great way for players to come together, have some fun, and socialize over accessible games. Over the past century or so, the popularity of pinball has spiked and receded in wild fashion, and the entire industry has almost crashed at least a handful of times. Although the pinball scene has been relatively quiet since the early 2000s, the last few years have seen an explosion of player interest, similar to the growing nostalgia for the golden age of arcades.
