The Vectrex was the first and only console for the home market that used vectors instead of raster graphics. It was also the first to support a peripheral for 3D (several years before the SMS’s 3-D Glasses). For all its merits, though (including the fact it had a built-in screen) it sadly was only available for two years before the infamous game crash of 1983.
