Old School Gamer surveyed its friend running nationally and regionally known retro arcades and found out that there are some games you have to have to consider ourself a retro arcade. We started by listing
the most popular games on the KLOV.Com site (Museum of the Game / ®International Arcade Museum® – Killer List of Video Games®) and then tweaked things from there. In our opinion, you need to have the below dedicated machines in your arsenal (no 60- in-1 boards, no MAME, none of that stuff.)

While these may not be the most popular games that get played all the time, as a discussion with Doc Mack of Galloping Ghost brought up to me, they are ones that are needed to be considered a Retro Arcade. Its goes right with what I told my son Aaron and we joke about regularly when one of us or both of us visit a place with arcade video games. If it doesn’t have Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga or one of the Ms. Pac/Galaga combo machines I wouldn’t even call it an Arcade!
